Manganese-doped gold nanoclusters with ultrasmall size andmicroenvironment-responsive visualized theranostics of tumor

Inorganic nanoprobes with ultrasmall size have the advantage of kidney clearance, which was very meaningful for achieving clinical application. In this article, Mn2+-doped gold nanoclusters (Mn-AuNCs) were synthesized, by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and tumor-microenvironment-responsive chemodynamic therapy (CDT) photodynamic (PDT) achieved. The results showed that Mn-AuNCs nanoprobe occupied about 2–3 nm, excellent T1-weighted MRI performance a high longitudinal relaxivity 31.71 mM?1 s?1. tumor microenvironment, can catalyze H2O2 to produce ·OH, O2 singlet oxygen, showing CDT enhanced PDT performances. Under irradiation 635 nm laser, viability 4T1 cells incubated decreased be 10%, tumors disappeared completely, MRI-guided CDT/PDT combination therapy.
